#743: IIRS dev copy

hi, i am trying to see the new IIRS so i can get the documentation in context.

i was hoping you had a general working copy of the new national hub IIRS system on a server somewhere that i could look around.

i have been getting white screen at the end of the drush make build-* -> panopoly profile setup process for the IIRS dev local copy on my laptop. and i note that the profile system is marked as not complete in the IIRS documentation.

should i begin trouble shooting this myself or can you give me some advice on local setup?

#771: cannot access puffin over sftp again

not sure what happened this time. my connection to other servers is fine. i am using:

sftp://tn.ftp@puffin.transitionnetwork.org/static/transition-network-d6-32-s002-booker/

the password was accepted first time and i successfully navigated to /static

which worked until i tried to get to the transition-network-d6-32-s002-booker directory. now ssh fails also.

when i ssh in i get plenty of warnings and potential lock outs when i try various things. like trying to access /static.

can't access parrot again also: it re-requests my password very quickly. what is the session timeout?

also: i cannot include my files. seems that the website is located under the /home/annesley directory. is this some sort of strange setup because the PHP cannot see that area. and i cannot cd to the root through SFTP...

#166: certs / domain names for dev and test sites

The dev server has a https certificate set up for *.transitionnetwork.org but the dev and test sites are set to run on *.webarch.net domain names so people get certificate warnings.

When this is fixed various scripts on the dev server like the wiki:DevelopmentServer#live2dev script will also need updating...

When you try to login on the dev site:

You get redirected to the installer for Pressflow:

I'm not sure what causes this, but it's not something I've done as far as I'm aware. I'm unable to proceed with testing Nginx and Drupal due to this.

An account on kiwi was compromised via a brute force attack against VSFTP and the account was then used to attack other servers.

Once #263 (code/module updates) and #160 (piwik stats) are in place, DEV and TEST should be brought up to date LIVE's data.

Might also be blocked by #224 (Varnish).
