They're not as good as basecamp, we tried them two years ago and they weren't popular; we very nearly ended up forcing more users into them just now.

DELETE the workspaces before we try to use them again.

Are there any implications we need to observe?

We need the following outcomes from the work:

For new technologists to be able to quickly learn:

-- the maintenance and development process,
-- setting up test environments for development work,
-- protocols for contributing to the wiki and the issue tracker,
-- any other key skills and processes related to maintenance and development work.

Primarily target: Drupal webmasters learning the maintenance/development process, and learning to carry out production tasks (views, panels, etc).

Provide a specification/description of the site to allow advanced developers a rapid way in to working with it.

Consider Wordpress users too - with a view to Rob Hopkins moving from Wordpress into Drupal

Carrying out this work should help Mark to learn the ropes so he can continue to contribute as a technologist.

Mark will have a a sift through the TRAC tickets - may be able help especially with spam management.

There is a strict end of January deadline.

Users have problems with the auto-complete; not being psychic, they don't know the range of regions on offer, so they struggle with adding regions.

Can we swap the auto-complete for a drop down of the regions they can chose? Can Ed do this?

This is small but would be much smoother.

They are keen to move the whole site and WAGN system onto TN servers.

Please investigate and let me know what it will take to sort hosting this out.

The social reporters cannot set the featured story for their homepage (as at point 14 on this guide: https://www.transitionnetwork.org/blogs/ed-mitchell/2012-11/editing-social-reporting-homepage).

it works fine for admin, and they need to do this themselves, so we need to fix it. Setting? Permissions?
