I think we just give them access to 'Transition Network Event'? Why add another event type when we already have 3? There's 'Imported Events' (also a candidate) and 'Community Events' too.

My vote is to reuse Transition Network Events unless this causes an issue?

we need to keep transition network events for the trainers specifically - keeping that clear line between what is network/movement/partner. Can we use 'imported events' for the partner events that are generated on the site by an event adder? that would be fine.
