Hmm... this is a bit of a bitch because I have set the defaults as oldest first, but all EXISTING nodes simply have their own settings... Need a way to apply this site-wide.

ah don't bother for EXISTING nodes, but you did the work 6 days ago (Thursday 22nd?) and I wrote that item on Friday 23rd... so wouldn't that node have been created after the change?

Aha... these are fixed now. It's because when you add the comments as a panel pane, they have their own independent setting. Updated all the node type panel pages with comments, so should now be done.
