The current live server is running at close to capacity, so I'd have thought the options are:

Upgrade the live server and host the PSE on this server

Get a new server for the PSE

PSE is either a) part of TN.org, or b) a stand-alone site. Each has a can of worms associated with it. I'm personally leaning towards b) because this service-based model will be used again and again for similar project and future collaborations.

So any stand-alone PSE install will be: Drupal 7 minimal + views + data + services + caching + clean, simple theme + single sign on with TN.org.

Any weed VPS or even shared hosting will be able to handle this, though I agree it probably shouldn't be on Quince (LIVE).

status
                changed from new to closed

resolution
                set to fixed

I believe recent work to upgrade LIVE's memory, move to InnoDB and other performance tweaks means this ticket is now closed.
