    1 There is a MailChimp module which uses their API to manage subscriptions etc. I've disabled it as a precaution.

    33And PHPList is dreadful. It was until recently abandoned, and has been the source of the only ever hack on a site (I took over) I ever got hit by. Mailchimp blows it out of the water in terms of capability, usability and performance. It's free up to 2000 subscribers too.
