Transition Technology: Ticket #559: Rob Hopkins blog checks to move onto TN.org

We will move Rob hopkins from Transition Culture onto his new blog:
.../blogs/rob-hopkins
in a week or two.

We are currently re-publishing his blog as a syndicated blog at /blogs/rob-hopkins

The output of his blog on TN.org will be syndicated at its old location transitionculture.org - privately - as a back up.

is there anything I need to be aware of as I turn the syndicated blog *off* and start telling him to create content of type blog with his authorship on TN.org?

The RSS is currently summary only. can i change it to full myself? if so, please point me to the settings. if not, we need to be publishing the full content from when he starts blogging on TN.org

hours
                changed from 0.0 to 0.1

totalhours
                changed from 0.0 to 0.1

1) off the top of my head, no... The blogs views show imported and local blog posts, so as he starts using TN to build posts, all should carry on. Obviously he won't be putting them in two places (on his old blog too), otherwise we'll have odd dupes.

2) Done. Site wide option changed to Full node (better for syndication anyway).

                changed from closed to reopened

Sorry - re-opening.

Rob Hopkins' latest blog post (generated on TN.org) does not show up in blogs/rob-hopkins or /blogs listings to un-logged in users:
http://www.transitionnetwork.org/blogs/rob-hopkins

It does show up to my logged in account.
