Seems https://drupal.org/project/notifications_extra would cover this need. Shall I add this to our cookbook? There's a set of upgrades to some modules due now...

I've had a look and can't see it exactly described on the module, but if you say it does what I'm asking for, then add it into the cookbook please

This is pending a general module update and rebuild of the platform...

However realistically I'm too busy with IIRS and another project to get this done this week.

So to help manage expectations, let's pencil this in for the 10th... I'll raise another ticket outlining the tasks needed.

Per #624, this is now enabled in PROD and included in future platforms.
