Handing this to Sam but happy for it to escalate. Presumably this issue won't be on this one post only - and it is important.

Hi Ed

For some reason these comments had ended up in the 'approval queue' https://www.transitionnetwork.org/admin/content/comment/approval I'm not entirely sure why comments sometimes end up there, I guess it's one of the Spam modules that we use that flags them.

I periodically use this view to check on the comments: https://www.transitionnetwork.org/admin/content/comment/recent?type_op=in&type=All and approve/delete them. I hadn't done it for a while, so there was a bit of a backlog (now cleared)

I'm not sure it's worth investing developer time on improving/investigating this on the D6 site, although making the comment/spam process easier in D7 should definitely get some attention.

I propose that for the rest of our D6 time i'll just add a Trello ticket and check the above URL on any days that I'm working..

Shall I close this ticket or does anyone have any further thoughts/comments.

Thanks

Sam

status
                changed from new to closed

resolution
                set to fixed

nice one sam - no developers needed here - commenting etc. definitely a part of the design for tnv3
