Transition Technology: Ticket #874: Please check & then install Georss if no problems

Hi Paul

We'd like to play around with generating Georss from our current site.

Could you have a glance at the code /test https://www.drupal.org/project/georss

If it seems like it's going to be unproblematic then please install it on the live site.

Thanks

Sam

Hi Sam,

I have installed the module on my stage site. Would you have a look to see if meets your needs, I'll then install on the live site.

The code looks fine.

The project page mentions:

The Location and Geo modules provide their own GeoRSS support. If you are using either of these modules to store your geo data, you will want to rely on them for your GeoRSS needs.

We have the location module enabled for nodes and there is also a location feeds module that is disabled on the server.

Let me know if you need any further help.

Hi Paul thanks for this.
All the views pages on you dev site automatically preview so it'
almost impossible to use. Can you remember how to switch this off? I
have switched it off on the live site but I can't remember which of
the byzantine menus it lives in?
Thanks
Sam

I couldn't quickly figure out how to turn off automatic preview on the view edit pages. I'll investigate further on Thursday - if you have not resolved the problem in the meantime.

Hi Paul
I've turned off the auto preview, but the module doesn't seem to
integrate with views out of the box.
This one looks like the thing I actually need:
https://www.drupal.org/project/views_rss_georss
Could you stick that one on instead?
Thanks
Sam
