For now I have created a WP site which can be accessed here:
The script for automatically sending the login details to Annesley failed as the server's GPG private key had expired, I'll sort that out another time.
Annesley did you get a email with the WP login details? Let me know if not and I'll reset the password.
You should be able to login using SFTP to annesley@… and the site is in ~/sites/default and there is PHPMyAdmin access here:
You can get the MySQL username / password from the wp-config.php file if you don't have them.
Sorry the script documented here ParrotServer#AddingaNewWordPressSite did work as expected -- this was because of the GPG issue.

hi chris,
got the SFTP connection up and running but am now getting a "Could not connect to host Socket error: Success." error message and SFTP is now failing.
the WP email did not contain the password:
Username: annesley
Password: The password you chose during the install.
thanks

Replying to annesley:

It looks like you had several password failures and then several public key authentication connections, then the deny hosts scripts picked up on the failures and added your IP to /etc/hosts.deny, I have now added it to /etc/hosts.allow so you should be able to connect OK using SFTP and public key authentication again.
the WP email did not contain the password:
Username: annesley
Password: The password you chose during the install.
I'll send you a new one off-list and also the MySQL passwd.
What sub-domain would you like? something.transitionnetwork.org? If so what is the "something"?
