In the past the server has alwas sent a email to say a new BOA release is available, didn't get one this time and I have just found this tweet from 4 Feb 2015:

So the update done on ticket:831#comment:12 covers this ticket, closing.

According the the changelog, see wiki:PuffinServer#Upgradelog the update done on ticket:831#comment:12 in a (apparently successful) attempt to fix image uploads, has resulted in an upgrade to BOA 2.4.0, even though it doesn't appear to have been finished.
