Is it possible for users to access the old fora? They were mothballed before the wiki was, but not annihilated. So I'm guessing that 'transitiontowns.org/forums' is still loitering somewhere?

I don't think I ever did a backup of the forums, I guess they were running on the lumpy lemon server?

If we can find a mysql dump and a backup of the directory I'm sure I could sort something out...

yup they were running on lumpylemon servers - they won't have been killed, just mothballed. don't know if it's necessary to do a big dump/backup job; just to secure some access in some way...

So it turned out that we did have a full copy of the files already -- we have a backup of all the directories, we didn't however have the SQL database.

I have got the forum up and running here:

And I have upgraded the code to the latest version and locked it down, notes on this here:

I think that's all that need doing, apart from telling people where to find it!
