Can you put it into initiatives, and then make it non-visible so I/you can make it visible at the touch of a button? If so, then do the work now. It wont' make sense until the book is out in Sept, but the logic is clear. Perhaps the same for projects.

Fields added, both to Ini and Project CT and Panels.
To enable for mortals:
- Edit permissions
- Set 'authenticated user' and 'pre-authorised' to be able to "edit field_initiative_rel_stage" and "edit field_project_rel_stage"
- Save, they can edit.
People can already SEE these, but the fields should be empty, so hidden.
Assigning back so you can finish the job one sunny day.
I reckon we'll see this slowly adopted, so slip into Initiatives for now.
NOT people or projects though.
