REPORTS; user interaction report, showing contact mails sent and replied, for users/initiatives/profiles

I am unaware of a way to get the emails sent/replied through the system, or is it just a count that's needed?

Please clarify requirements.

a count of the number of messages sent through the system via the contact buttons from the people, initiatives, projects please.

Will require custom coding... OR Google Analytics goal with to match url with a regular expression equal to: "user/*/contact"
