It is because some members are "private" members, it appears that new members default to being not listed unless they opt in. You can see the full list if you login at this URL: ​https://github.com/orgs/transitionnetwork/members

Don't worry, I asked Jim the exact same question - why am I not listed - after he added me, it isn't clear to me why it defaults to private but I guess it makes sense. People can change their own privacy settings if they wish.
