Description
The Transition Near me page needs a tidy up and overhaul. Ideally the introduction of panels so that admin can make specific tweaks (e.g. add/edit content types shown).
- remove RH column for full width
- keep editable section at top for admin to edit
- Show the lists of all related content types in a coherent way
- Related content types at this time are: news, people, projects, initiatives,

OK:
- RHS removed
- Panels editing permissions granted to administrators.

Top text already editable:
- edit panel (url above or go to Pages in Content Management menu)
- click 'Content' section (LHS),
- click cog on top 'Explano-text' box,
- edit BUT PLEASE DISABLE WYSIWYG EDITOR first (seems a bug makes it disappear otherwise - best to cut/paste it somewhere safe first so you don't loose it!)
The news panel is tricky as there's no location with news but there is with event, which is why it's there. Needs either a) a meaty view, or b) the Sharing Engine to be working...?
Let me know which way to go on the last point...

On news: the aim of the sharing engine is to relate 'community news' to the location added to the initaitive profiles - so news here would be community news...

please also note that this is related to the ticket (now closed) #182 https://tech.transitionnetwork.org/trac/ticket/182
in that they would best reflect eachother in layout
also that this ticket needs another column for projects
laura - also to think for you - '/nearby' can go into a menu, but can you think of a way we can integrate it into the design (maybe a button on the homepage, little search box somewhere etc.)

Just a gentle reminder that Panels are fine holding either:
- Blocks
- 'Custom content' panes
The former means easy re-use around the site...
