Have enabled content type extensions for notifications (wasn't a separate module before upgrade) and commented on issue here: http://drupal.org/node/789444#comment-5067846

Hopefully it now works? I've done tests and the system can send notifications, it's just whether they're triggered properly now.

Tentatively fixed, let me know if you don't get any in the next 24 hours...

The next SVN update will fix OG Notifications... Still looking into the content notify stuff...

Ed, are you getting ANY notifications, or just no 'new xxx node' type ones? Are you getting messages from the system otherwise?

OK, I've seen no issues in the database and I've been getting notifications fine.

So you should check your settings at https://www.transitionnetwork.org/user/4/notifications and update accordingly.

Works for me.

It could be it's just 'immediate' that's not working.

I'm getting two notifications for some comments now, and three for others from previous days.

Hmmm but if you go to your 'messages' tab -- https://www.transitionnetwork.org/user/4/messages -- you see that there has been plenty of action.

I'm at a loss, Ed. If your spam folder isn't grabbing them and I've been though every setting 10x now, then it's either a bug in the module or a problem with our install.

It MAY come down to disabling and uninstalling the messaging/notifications modules, then re-installing them. That would drop everyone's current notifications setting.

  • Have you had any daily digest emails?
  • Do you get notifications of anything else via 'immediate' email?
  • What do you think about the 'nuclear' option, above?

As in my email, my tests are getting "new" notification emails for Stories posts, and the 'web' method is putting them in your 'messages' tab.

So the website appears to be working properly, and your/TN/United's email setup/spam etc are now most likely issue.
