Description
Jim has pointed out that:
Skype costs us 15-30 minutes of grinding pain every time we do this!
So what are the alternatives and what are our requirements?

My 2p: Hangouts have always worked excellently for me in the past. Skype is ropey past 2 users and seems sketchier to setup/keep running. Call-in conference services seems a little oldskool to me, but it's proven tech.
My vote: hangouts

Is WebRTC ready to be used yet?
Looking at the demo here http://www.webrtc.org/demo it appears to work with Firefox on Android, could we simply install the demo code, https://code.google.com/p/webrtc/source/browse/#svn%2Ftrunk%2Fsamples%2Fjs%2Fapprtc in a directory on wiki:PenguinServer which uses the same HTAuthentication usernames and passwords as we have for Trac? Or does it need some server configuration?
Transition Network uses Skype and google hangouts. Very likely to start using GotoMeeting? - for multinational calling including phone ins and TN paying for call ins (for national hubs and REConomy projects). Chris and Ed had discussed Big Blue Button (?) some years back - there will be a ticket somewhere. (NB this is not a high priority piece atm)
